If you're reading in google reader or some such, you'll need to highlight the following text to read it. Blogger's being stupid, so I have to manually colour my text white, which I believe means it won't show up in feed readers properly. Argh!
Okay, that's it. I've had it up to here with my blog templates randomly throwing fits. I don't know about you, but right now I can't read any of my previous posts unless I highlight them, because the text seems to have decided to become the same colour as the background. Grr!!
All of which means, I am renewed in my resolve to get my website up and running. Yes, that's right, I have a website! www.amylaurens.com, in fact. It's been sitting there for several months now, but I haven't directed anyone there yet because it doesn't look pretty. In fact, I don't like the look of it at all, which is why I haven't been working on it.
Yes, I am strange O:)
However, again, this irregularity of blogger template-ness has become most irritating, so I now officially hereby hencewith do offically declare (did I say officially twice? O:)) that I am GOING to get that website up and running. Gah!
*checks calendar* Okay. Would it be a total cop-out if I said by the end of the year? O:) Hehe.

Why don't you just choose a different template. I've never had this happen with mine. Ugh.
Good luck!
This is my third template. I've had problems at some time or another with every single one.
I've had probs when I imported a template. Looked great to me and then I heard back from others that it did not show up on some people's computers. You should be able to divert traffic straight to your site from the blog. Lot's of fun creating site, a little painful when it doesn't upload properly the first 25 times - enjoy!

PS
I did join critique circle, just haven't had time to figure it out yet. Might get something on there over the weekend (along with a 1st draft warning)
Amy, to fix your template, you edit the styles, look for this:
body {
background:#333 url(http://img103.imageshack.us/img103/3393/bgnc9.gif);
color: #333;
font: normal 12px "Lucida Sans Unicode",sans-serif;
}
And change the color: #333 to color: #fff; that will make the text white again.
If you want some help, og into gmail chat, should be a piece of cake.
As for your site, I'd be happy to help you get a design up that fits your needs, or even help you find some tools to do-it-yourself.
Charm - Yay for CC, and blah to templates on different browsers. *wrinkles nose*
Wulfie - truly, you are tremendous :D As it turns out, the problem was not so much the lack of whiteness in the text, but the lack of whiteness in the background o.O Seems to be back to normal for now, but if it happens again I shall pounce on you %-) And I shall be in touch re the website O:) Thank you.
