I can't wait until Holly's latest non-fiction work comes out - 'How To Find Your Writing Discipline '. (Sorry, that link is supposed to take you right to the page for that book. But Blogger seems to dislike the html, so it's only going to the front page of the shop.)
Anyway, I can't wait till it comes out. Why, you ask? Because discipline is something I need for my writing. We are sitting on the tenth of December, and thus far this month I've written only just over 400 words.
Ah yes, you say, but you have been busy. (Well, if you don't say it, I certainly do!)
Not the point. If I want to be a Writer, then I am pretty much required to be busy. No one is going to pay me to write until I've proved that I'm worth paying, and I won't ever be worth paying if I don't write.
Ergo, I need to learn to write even when I'm busy.
And the subtitle of this new book intrigues me: How to Find Your Writing Discipline, Even with a Job, A Life, Kids, Pets, Obligations, Hobbies, and All the Rest.
I'll let you know how it goes...
